Trauma can leave echoes in the body long after the moment has passed. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) helps release the emotional weight of trauma by softening those echoes. EMDR allows the nervous system to create space for calm and safety by allowing the nervous system to complete what it could not finish on its own.
