The Benefits of Yoga & Reiki

Yoga and Reiki are gentle, complementary practices that nurture both body and spirit. These practices create a powerful foundation for healing that can offer space to pause, breathe, and realign with your natural state of balance.

Energy Healing to Restore Calm and Harmony

Restorative and gentle yoga invite you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your body. Unlike more active yoga styles, these practices use supportive poses, mindful breathing, and stillness to calm the nervous system and release stored tension.

This style of yoga is accessible for all bodies and levels of experience. It’s especially supportive for those navigating trauma, burnout, grief, or life transitions — offering a safe space to rest, restore, and heal from within. During a telehealth yoga session, we connect through a secure video call. I’ll guide you in creating a calm, comfortable space where you can fully relax.

Reiki comes from two Japanese words: “Rei” meaning universal or spiritual energy and “Ki” meaning life force energy.

Together, Reiki refers to the universal life energy that flows through all living beings. A Reiki session gently channels this energy to support balance, release blockages, and encourage the body’s natural healing process.

Telehealth Reiki is not bound by physical distance. Because it works with universal life energy, Reiki can be shared remotely with the same intention and benefit as an in-person session. In person sessions typically involve light touch or hands held just above the body, and many people describe the experience as deeply calming and restorative.

During a telehealth Reiki session, we connect through a secure video call. I’ll guide you in creating a calm, comfortable space where you can fully relax — perhaps lying down or sitting quietly. As I channel Reiki energy, you may notice sensations of warmth, lightness, or deep calm, though each person’s experience is unique.

While not a replacement for medical care, Reiki is often used as a complementary therapy to ease stress, reduce discomfort, and promote overall well-being.
