Did you know that your feelings can be stored in your body? Did you know trauma and chronic stress can harm you through physiological changes to the body and brain, and that those wounds can be persistent throughout life? Trauma is any event (or chronic exposure to a situation) when you do not feel safe. Do you have childhood trauma, known as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES)? Responses to trauma can leave you stuck in fight, flight or freeze mode.

Traditional talk therapy, yoga, and breathwork can help you connect your mind and body to release trauma and stored feelings. You can use yoga and breathwork to regulate your physiological survival response.

Together, we will learn and practice skills to manage stress, heal trauma, and create a functional lifestyle. I will work with you to create a thriving alliance between your mind and body.  I provide holistic care to meet your needs and to promote healing on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.

I use evidence-based interventions that include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy.  I am a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT-200) and a Reiki Master.
